The audio is a little soft, you may have to turn up the volume slightly.
I'll never hear a ring-tone the same way again!
Thinking on it, I wonder if there are ring tones that make fart noises? What a great prank that would be to download it into your friends phone, set it to default, then call him when he's in a public place!
This is a Chinese made bubble blower called Bubble Breezer (or Bub L Breezer). Yes, he blow bubbles out of his butt. No, I'm not providing a link to where you can get one. You'll know how to find one if you really wanted one ... not that anyone would. Right?
Besides, with all the Chinese recalls lately, you'd be lucky if this thing didn't blow up in your face, or create leaded bubbles.
This product might explain doggy breath:
It can't be be any worse than the possible upcoming US introduction of the well-made Chinese automobile manufacturer Chery Amulet. See how well it fares in a standard crash test.
That's pure quality there, folks! You just don't get full body accordion crumple like that in American cars these days. (Technically, that was a Russian crash test demonstration of the Chery Amulet).
Chrysler has inked a deal with Chery to begin selling its cars here in the US. Mainly compact and sub-compact cars in the $10,000 to $15,000 range. And, yes, they will still make money on such cheap automobiles manufactured in China and shipped to the US. [cite]
Chrysler is going to have to do a Hell of a job selling this piece of crap to the American public. Oh, sure, they will likely get it up to American safety standards. But, the stigma of being Chinese made, especially after the recent spate of dangerous Chinese made recalls, will make most people think more than twice about buying one. The viral video above will be burned into a lot of peoples' consciousness. The Buy American segment will surely use any and all manner and media to discredit the purchase of these cars.
We're a ways off from seeing them in the US, and Chrysler is probably more interested in growing their brand name in foreign markets, where these cars, even in current state, would sell nicely. Still, the US market could use a reasonably priced, safe, fuel efficient small car (think VW Bug a few decades back.)
Time will tell. Maybe these Chery built cars will be a good thing.
And, maybe it'll blow bubbles out of its tail pipe!
Cuz, it's hot, the AC isn't going to be fixed until later today, and I ain't cranking the 'puter up 'til it is! (Or until evening when it cools down some.)
Ok, Ok ... I had a post I wanted to do. I really did. Then I got sidetracked. Then, I got lazy. Plus I need a shower if I'm actually going to go see the movie today because ... well, Eau d'Naturale doesn't go over well in a crowded theater.
Kids are out for the summer today, and unbeknown to me, Mom decided today was the day we were going through their drawers and closets to separate school clothes from play clothes from dress clothes, and come up with five camp clothes outfits.
*sigh*
So, you get farts ...

Yes, Jack Black is indeed in this episode. The real guy. The guy from "School of Rock", "King Kong", and "Nacho Libre". Take a peek:
Laser Fart's choice of super-hero costume is odd, but by the charred "stain" on the butt of his bike shorts, we now know those lasers do some damage to textiles.
I'm not sure if the diatribe at the end of the episode is supposed to be part of the humor, or if it was meant as a real message. It was an interesting choice to end the episode, either way.
Oddly enough, I kinda like this super-hero parody show. There are more episodes available ... Do you, my discriminating readers, want to see more Laser Fart?

I was going to do a nice post today, but ended up running errands from 8am until now, which is ... 2pm. So I'm fairly wiped out. (No fart pun intended).
I decided that I would show a super-hero movie for those of you who missed seeing Spider-Man 3. Rumors are this guy will be in the fourth installment as Spidey's side-kick. Okay, not really, but it couldn't be worse than Sandman, Venom, and New Goblin. *sigh*
Good thing the lasers seem to coalesce outside his pants. Can you imagine the wardrobe bill this guy would have other wise? And, just throwing this out, if those are dry farts, I wonder what a wet one would be like?

Blogger had a problem with my account this morning and into the afternoon, so nothing was posted for today. Well, until now ... and, maybe I shouldn't have posted it, because ... you know when I do fillers, they are usually about .. yeah, you guessed it ... farts.
And this one is the weirdest yet.
You may want to cover you eyes, as well as your nose on this one, folks. ~.^
I give to you ...
FARTING HIPPO!
I'll have something less grotesque and eccentric tomorrow ... promise! ^.^;;;
I'm battling a nagging sinus headache, as well as what may be the beginnings of peripheral polyneuropathy brought about by my diabetes. My podiatrist warned me of this and we've been watching for signs. All this week I've bad foot pain in my right big toe ball joint. Today, my left foot feels as if a marble is embedded under the skin on the bottom between my little toe and the next one over.
I simply didn't feel like coming up with a blog. So that is why today's is late.
Filler blogs are usually fart related. The following is not, strictly speaking, farting. But it sounds like farts, and is called hand farting. Since yesterday was about R2-D2, and with Star Wars' 30th Anniversary looming, I give to you the Empire's Theme in Hand Farts.

Since Mudpuppy stole my blog idea for today, I've not got anything planned. *sigh*
Heh, he didn't actually steal it. He merely beat me to it. So now, because of him, you have a ... dare I say it? ... A Fart Filler!!!
I present for your visual, auditory, but thankfully not olfactory, pleasure ...
The Belgium Farting Pig!
All I have to say is ... "Those poor, poor chickens."
This is a clip from a Belgian children's show. Apparantly, flatulant anthropomorphic porcines are considered high entertainment for kids in Belgium. I can see hordes of school children running about, singing the catchy little tune and blasting farts at one another while smiling parents and teachers in gasmasks watch the playful antics.
You have to admit the tune gets into your head. Now, every time you feel a fart coming on, you'll start humming this little ditty. It'll be like an early warning system to those around you.
I think it's hilarious they subtitle the farts. The phrase, "fopje flauw mopje" roughly translates to "little fools tell insipid little jokes."
Don't forget to thank Mudpuppy for this fine flatulant Friday filler. ~.^

At Mudpuppy's blog he posted a quote he enjoyed. I, too, enjoyed the quote and decided to put it into action.
The Quote:
Make visible what, without you, might never have been seen. —Robert Bresson
The Action:
Okay, okay ... I know that's probably not what Robert Bresson had in mind. Or Mudpuppy, for that matter. But what can you expect from a filler post on the Roost? Muahahahahaha
Admit it, you now wish you had infrared goggles when you were out in public.
And a gas mask. Today's Penny Doubled Daily Cumulative Amount for 55 days is:
Yup. Sick again. Another earache. Well, Eustachian tube infection, again, to be technical. I'll probably be going to the doc-in-the-box, again, for meds.
That means you get a good ol' fart post. Ain't I a stinker?
If I were a stinker, you could use this to find out for sure. It's a working Fart Detector from Cornell. It'll detect methane gas in the room and provide you with a loud warning when someone has cut the cheese. (Assuming the flatulent friend didn't blow his own foghorn, that is).
You still won't know who did the deed, but it might provide you enough time to hold your nose and move away from the offending odor.
I'd call this a gag gift, but it might actually prevent gagging.

I'm not sick today. I actually feel pretty doggone good. I'm even taking the kiddies out to the library and the park to fly some new kites I bought. Slight breeze today, so that'll help. They are a two-pack of kites I bought at the dollar store. I'll probably need all the help I can get from wind. ~.^
Speaking of wind, I have some breaking news:
Ha! Gotcha! And you thought it was more fart jokes. Tsk tsk.
Enjoy your day everyone! ^.^

My apologies for the late posts the last few days. I just seem to be catching one thing after another. =/ I was basically unconscious most of the day today, so you get to watch this grossly funny song parody of Brittney Spears' "Oops, I Did It Again".
Enjoy.
Oh, and hold your nose.

No long-winded post today. Three weeks ago it was an ear infection. The last week and a half it was the Flu. Now I have a calcium stone in my submandibular salivary duct. I didn't even know i had salivary ducts, let alone you could get stones in them! Quite painful and annoying. Next week I'm trying for leprosy. =/ Anyhow, I am blatantly ripping this off from another website, but since that website has blatantly ripped it off from yet another website, who probably blatantly ripped it off of even another website, and it is likely it was ripped off from dozens of prior websites that got it from a chain e-mail, I don't feel guilty for posting it here and amusing you. I added a few of my own, too. hehe
